Undergraduate Research & Creative Achievement Day (URCAD)

Every year, UMBC hosts Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement Day (URCAD), a campus-wide celebration that spotlights the original research, creative work, and scholarship of UMBC undergraduates. Students share their work through oral presentations, posters, artistic exhibits, performances, and film. With over 300 presenters participating annually, URCAD is a reflection of the university’s commitment to undergraduate achievement and interdisciplinary exploration.

INDS (Individualized Study) students regularly participate in URCAD, showcasing projects that bridge multiple academic fields and highlight the innovative thinking that defines the program.
