Post Graduation Plans
After obtaining my undergraduate degree, I intend to pursue an MD/Ph. D. in neuroscience, with the goal of becoming a physician-scientist. I hope to be an active contributor to both the clinical and research aspects of neurodegeneration by working with affected patients and furthering neuroscience research
Courses In My INDS Degree
✅Understanding the Biochemical Basis of Human Physiology: These courses will help me to build a foundational understanding of the biochemical processes necessary for normal functioning of the human body. (CHEM 351, 352, 437, BIOL 302, 303, 307)
✅Understanding Neurological Processes: These courses will help me gain a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms that facilitate the development of neurodegenerative disorders. (PSYC 300, 375, BIOL 451, 445, 490, PSYC 370)
✅Preparing for a Patient-Centered Career: These courses will help me to view neurobiology through a perspective that integrates the sociocultural aspects of neurodegeneration into my development as a researcher and physician. (AGNG 315, AGNG 355, PHIL 359, SOCY 351, ANTH 312)
