Post Graduation Plans

After obtaining my undergraduate degree, I intend to pursue an MD/Ph. D. in neuroscience, with the goal of becoming a physician-scientist. I hope to be an active contributor to both the clinical and research aspects of neurodegeneration by working with affected patients and furthering neuroscience research

Courses In My INDS Degree

Understanding the Biochemical Basis of Human Physiology: These courses will help me to build a foundational understanding of the biochemical processes necessary for normal functioning of the human body. (CHEM 351, 352, 437, BIOL 302, 303, 307)

Understanding Neurological Processes: These courses will help me gain a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms that facilitate the development of neurodegenerative disorders. (PSYC 300, 375, BIOL 451, 445, 490, PSYC 370)

Preparing for a Patient-Centered Career: These courses will help me to view neurobiology through a perspective that integrates the sociocultural aspects of neurodegeneration into my development as a researcher and physician. (AGNG 315, AGNG 355, PHIL 359, SOCY 351, ANTH 312)

Individualized Study: These courses will allow me to understand how to integrate the perspectives of various disciplines into my career field. (INDS 330, 335, 410, 480, 490, STAT 350)
