Chapman is a Spring 2024 MDST graduate. She has designed a degree that encompass science outreach, race and ethnic relations, visual concepts, gender, and race to give her a strong scientific background and the skills to communicate in written, visual, and video format. Her work at UMBC included translating scientific papers on scientific paper related to amino acids and meiosis, into digestible language for general audiences. Shehroze Rashid
Degree: B.S Process Management
Rashid is a Fall 2023 MDST graduate. During his time at UMBC, he focused on developing an initiative that would help food access in low socioeconomic neighborhoods. He used seven key steps of process management systematically to achieve this goal. The solution materialized as an innovative approach to offering hot food: heating cold food post-sale.
