B.A. INDS: Environmental Impacts on Public Health
My INDS Degree
“Before transferring to UMBC I was unsure what major to choose. I was attracted to the INDS program because it gave me the opportunity to tailor my undergraduate experience to exactly what I wanted. The INDS program taught me how to use an interdisciplinary approach to understanding how the environment affects health. Through my coursework, I am able to incorporate the knowledge and skills that are necessary for me to be successful in my future career. I am grateful to the INDS staff and faculty for their continued support throughout this process.
Degree Mentors

Post Graduation Plans
After graduating I plan on pursuing a career in the field of Public Health. I am interested in a career where I am able to apply research and grassroots efforts that work towards solving environmental health crises in underserved and underprivileged communities. Additionally, I plan on pursuing a graduate degree in the near future.”
